At Longton Financial Services, we provide financial advice that is clear, pragmatic and completely independent. With more than 75 years of experience under our belts we bring a vast amount of experience and knowledge. We work hard to get to know our clients and their specific circumstances. Our Team
Deryck Teasdale
Partner and IFA
Deryck has been advising clients since April 1988, just as the Financial Services Act 1988 came into place that created the basis of the more structured approach to financial planning and protection that we see today.
His experience in the industry allows him to fully understand which products and services are most appropriate for his clients. He truly values the importance of establishing good client/adviser relationships and enjoys helping his clients to find clarity and purpose with their finances.

Outside the office he enjoys walking with his pet dog and spending time with his extended family. He has been the governor of a local school for over 12 years, which offers him the opportunity to put something back into society, and from which he gains much satisfaction.
Martin Kendrick
Partner
Martin has been a financial adviser for over 30 years. He has particular interest in pensions and investment planning in particular creation, protection and distribution of family wealth. He prides himself on keeping his advice clear and concise, using jargon free language.

Kate Bromby
Partner and IFA
After studying Economics at Cardiff University, Kate then went on to qualify as a Chartered Management Accountant. She spent 14 years in the accountancy profession in London and Cardiff before being invited to join her father, Martin Kendrick, here at Longton FS in 2018. As well as learning the ropes, getting to know the clients and the day to day running of the business, Kate has also qualified as an IFA and plans to continue her studies to gain Chartered Financial Planner status over the next few years.

Kate and her husband, Hywel spend most of their spare time thinking of new ways to tire out their three young children. When she isn't jumping in muddy puddles, climbing trees or walking up big hills with the family Kate enjoys playing netball for a local Leyland team.
Lynn Alston
Office Manager
Lynn joined us in 2008, she is in charge of keeping the office running smoothly. She is generally the first point of contact for clients contacting Longton FS.

She and her husband enjoy travelling around the world and also spending time with their 3 grandchildren who live nearby.
Nellie Kendrick
Office Dog
Nellie is 12 years old and after a long an illustrious career of being a faithful companion to Martin, she is now pretty much retired. She enjoys a life of eating, sleeping and the occasional walk and swim at Harlech beach.
